Bug hotels offer children a handful of hands-on learning and fun, it is a great project for children to be involved in, take ownership of, and learn more about their natural environment. It also helps foster children’s enthusiasm and their empathy to look after the creepy crawlies that we share our garden with.
Making a bug hotel is not only an opportunity to use our problem-solving and construction skills, but also hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to pick up and transport the new residents to Pitus’ bug hotel! 🐌🐞🐜
