Today we did rainy day painting with water colours, with our wellies and even on an umbrella! ☂ The rain helped us mix all the beautiful colours together and find new ways of making art. ☔️
Process art is characterized by being open-ended, experiential, unstructured, self-motivated, creative, and unique. It focuses on the process, or the doing, rather than the outcome.
First we started adding the powdered colours, then when we saw how the water mixed with them, we used our fingers to make patterns and get creative! We can get as messy as we want, paint where we want, and afterwards, the rain washes it all away…
